We hate to break this to the Internet, but Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro got back together over the weekend.
By which we don't necessarily mean the cantakerous exes got it on sexual intercourse style or anything.
We simply mean this as literally as possible: Ronnie and Jen were actually, physically, together.
Harley jumped on her Instagram Stories page on Sunday to post a handful of clips of the 33-year-old Jersey Shore star adorably interacting with the former couple's little girl, Ariana, at a party.
In one piece of footage, Ronnie can be seen fixing the 11-month old's dress before playing with her chubby cheeks while the dad-daughter duo basked in the sun.
Jen doesn't say anything as a caption to this video and it remains unknown whether she and Ronnie are a romantic item again.
But it's nice to see them at least making an effort to get along for the sake of their child.
“She’s always going to be the mother of my child, at the end of the day,” Ortiz-Magro told Us Weekly in February about his and Harley's current status, adding at the time:
“All I can do is control myself. I can’t control her.”
Ronnie said this in light of the news that he actually checked into rehab for a few weeks earlier in the year.
He did so to battle a reliance on alcohol, along with an admitted bout of Depression.
"I just had to surrender and say, ‘I don’t have control over this.’ I don’t know who I am anymore. I don’t know what to do," Ronnie confessed to this same tabloid.
He added that he chose to enter HeadWaters at Origins holistic treatment center in West Palm Beach, Florida after hitting what he described as "rock bottom."
“I couldn’t live hurting myself, basically having my daughter grow up and it’s eventually going to hurt her,” Ortiz-Magro told the publication this winter, adding:
“I was in a place of depression, and with depression I turned to alcohol … I was sitting there blaming everything else; I was like the victim, and I’m not a victim to life.
"I’m blessed and I’m lucky enough that I have different options, different outlets."
Hopefully Ronnie continues to realize all of this about himself -- and his relationship with Harley.
It has been toxic on every level.
Jen was arrested last summer for assault against the Jersey Shore star after dragging him down the street by her car.
For real. We're not making that up.
The two then got into a major fight on New Year's Eve (chronicled below) that results in battery charges being filed.
Still, they are parents and always will be parents and need to keep the well-being of their daughter in mind at all times.
They need to find some way to co-exist as friends.
I’m a father. I’m a role model. I have to remember that," Ronnie told Us, concluding of Ariana:
"She’s getting older. She’s not getting younger. She’s getting older, and she’s getting smarter and smarter."
